Classes, Informational's and Events

Beginners Skill's Saturdays

Beginner classes on Saturdays by Margaret Clarey will be 1st and 3rd Saturdays 10 to noon, Room 8 Caliente front Office. That will be the 7th and 21st of January

Open Office writer SIG

There is a change of meeting place. If you have a program that you use all the time and know it well then consider hosting a SIG next season. We all have programs that we use all the time on the computer and getting together with a few people that want to learn more about that program is a great way to help them and even pick up some tricks you may not have discovered. Share your skills.These SIGs will be every Monday at 10 to 11:30AM in the Caliente Clubhouse 'old Board Room', Margaret will be the Room monitor


Monday Night Training

Bill Johnston host the Monday Night classes in the Club's lab in Caliente. From 7 to 9 PM, every Monday till further notice. If you have laptops bring them. Dates are the 2nd, 9th, 15th, 23rd and 30th.

Computer Help

Computer Help with our V.P. Ron Mauer this month. The days of the week vary so be sure to mark these down or check the calendar often. January' will be the 5th, 11th, 17th, 25th and 31st at Caliente Clubhouse in the Old Board room from 10 to 12.

New Tips and Tricks email group.

An email group thru Yahoo groups was started for FPSCC members to get tips, share info and even help other members with problems. You are not automatically put in this group like you are on the membership list.Margaret Clarey has sent out several emails explaining the list and how it will work and how to join if you want to be included on this list. If you did not get this information and want to join this list send an email to FPSCC Tricks and request to be added. Remember you have to be a member of Four Parks Senior Computer Club.

We are adding Win 7 to our tips list. You join by doing the same as listed above as it will be the same list only tips for Windows 7 will be listed in the subject line as (Win 7). I am going to kick it off next week with a few starting tips. If you have Win 7 and have discovered how to do something that you think members will like to hear about, by all means post it. Just put (Win 7) in the subject. I'm hoping more of the members that are using it or have been using it for awhile will post helps also and by all means if you have a question ask it. Others may benefit from the question you ask and the answer. There's no dumb questions, we all have to start somewhere.

Where to pay dues & Survey Info

Peggy Lindquist is our Financial Secretary and when you pay your dues this season you will be asked to fill out a survey, this has been gone over this summer and made a little easier. We need you to fill this out as this is how the Board can tell what is needed and if you have suggestions we would like to have you write them down. You're not just filling out something that will be set aside and not looked at, they are gone over several times a times a season and a report issued to the Board so they can judge if what is needed is being addressed. Print your Survey here. Peggy will try to be at informational's, Coffees and meetings to take dues. If you can't make one of those events contact her at 868-0263 and make arrangements to pay dues and fill out the survey.
